Extensions - IP Powermeter

Measure power consumption, reduce costs sustainably

ALLNET Powermeters help you to identify load peaks and power consumers and to reduce power consumption sustainably on the basis of the measured values. The ALLNET Powermeters can directly access the three phases of the power line and thus provide exact consumption data. The consumption data is tapped via induction terminals without the need to intervene in the house wiring. This increases safety and convenience in equal measure and allows uncomplicated use in any application scenario. Numerous network functions allow individual further processing with the ALLNET sensor meters, as well as targeted evaluation and archiving of the data.

Inductive power clamps 50A, 200A & 800A

"The compact divisible cable conversion current transformers (50A & 200A) are especially suitable for retrofitting in existing installations. Cable conversion current transformers are particularly used in cases where the current path must not be interrupted.
For the 800A transformers, the current path must be interrupted and the power cable must be passed through the transformer. "

S0 - Pulse generator

"The S0 interface is used by gas meters, water meters, electricity meters, heat meters and for general consumption measurement in building automation.
The meter readings are transmitted by pulses. The signal is generated by the meter as a current pulse. A current flow of less than 3 mA corresponds to a LOW value. If the current flow is greater, this is interpreted as a HIGH value."

D0, SML, OBIS Key figures

"Modern electronic household meters (digital meters) have an optical front interface (infrared), which is designed according to the requirements of the

-DIN EN 62056-21: Meter reading transmission, tariff and load control Part 21: Data transmission for fixed and mobile connection
-SML: Smart metering language, a communication protocol for electricity meters.

is structured.

For example, bidirectional meters for photovoltaic systems are prescribed by the network operator as digital electricity meters; these usually have this so-called D0 infrared interface. The reading is done with a D0 reading head and the corresponding power meter. The recognition of the interface protocol and the identification by means of OBIS codes, reference and feed-in data can then be recorded and displayed in separate channels. Although there is a D0 standard, unfortunately the manufacturers of the power meters do not adhere to it. This means that the last bits and bytes of these OBIS key figures are unfortunately not identical for all of them. This has led to the fact that we keep a compatibility list and only the electricity meters which are included in the list can be used.

Recommendation: Buy a compatible D0 electricity meter (see compatibility list) and install it behind your current electricity meter from your energy supplier. Why? Even if the current electricity meter installed by your utility is compatible with our system, it is possible that it will be replaced at any time. This would, of course, cause your installation to stop working from that point on.
