Used batteries do not belong in household waste. You can return used batteries free of charge to our dispatch warehouse. As a consumer, you are legally obliged to return used batteries.

Batteries containing harmful substances are labelled with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out dustbin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that is decisive for the classification as containing harmful substances:

  1. "Cd" stands for cadmium.
  2. "Hg" stands for mercury.
  3. "Pb" stands for lead.


You can either return batteries to us after use or return them free of charge to retailers and municipal or public return points. Please note that the return in sales outlets is limited to normal quantities of normal use and used batteries which the seller carries or has carried as new batteries in his range.
