G.hn - The perfect solution for fast network to hard to reach places
There are two connection possibilities via G.HN to realize a network.
The first option is similar to a two-wire line VDSL, but with higher bandwidth and other transmission equipment.
The second possibility is via the coax cable to the TV cabling. Very interesting for IPTV etc. if no network on TV is present.
The transmission rate in the G.hn products is significantly higher than VDSL or most Powerline products. This is and the available frequency band standing.
The G.hn Coax devices have here a bandwidth of 2-100 MHz and enables bandwidths up to Gigabit.
With G.hn two-wire is a frequency band 6-78 MHz available, so a little less.
It can be hung together to multiple devices of some sort in a composite. Where device identify the router as a master and notify all other devices on the MAC address.
The devices should always get the direct link. If at the Coax devices satellite distribution be in between, it can lead to transmission errors, since the frequencies can be reduced by this.
The devices are plug & play.
