In the supermarket: The PTZ camera

PTZ is an acronym for pan, tilt and zoom. PTZ cover big areas because of those functions as well as detailed magnifications.

A supermarket surveillance requires the coverage of big areas on the one hand and on the other hand there has to be the possibility to zoom and tilt to suspicious people. The PTZ is perfectly suitable for this scenario.

Vandalism resistant: The fix-dome and bullet camera

A fix-dome camera is is permanantly attached and manifests itself through high failure safety. The translucent dome is lightly tinted. Thus it is difficult to detect how the camera is aimed, this ensures a higher deterrent effect. The fix-dome camera is perfectly suited for ceiling installation, whereas the bullet camera is better for wall mounting.

How many people are moving through the building? Here the software comes into play: People Counter, let you know exactly how many people or employees are going through the building.

Trade fair booth surveillance: The fisheye camera

The special feature of the fisheye camera is the hemispheric form of the lens. The angle is usually at about 180 degrees, thus the picture is distorted, the recording software can equalize the picture again.

There is probably no better way to monitor and film a trade fair booth than with a fisheye camera. In the evening and at night, after the regular visiting hours, the camera monitors the entire state. During the day, the camera can be used for providing a live stream for the website. So this kind of camera comes combines security and surveillance feature with an added value for your customers.

Hidden - The covert camera

Basically the intelligence of the covert camera is in a little box that can be installed inside of walls or ceilings and is connected via cable with a lens which is the only part that protrudes from the wall or ceiling. So this means that instead of a common big camera, all you can see is the little lens in a room.

First of all, a covert type camera is not as reachable as standard IP cams which means that this type is perfect for vandalism intensive areas. Secondly the camera will blend in with the environment better – because of the color and size – which makes it harder for suspicious people to actually identify it. Of course this argument does not only apply to the topic of vandalism but also to design. The benefit for retail stores, banks, hotels and company buildings is easy to spot: It simply looks better! Last but not least a covert camera is very comfortable to install since the maximum cable length between the central and the sensor is 2 meters: this is the perfect solution for hollow walls and suspended ceilings!

Brings light into darkness - The low light camera

With security awareness spreading across the globe and particularly in the world’s major cities, high-quality, 24/7 video surveillance has become a basic requirement. Since most crime happens at night, improving video quality during nighttime hours is one of the most important concerns of the video surveillance industry.

Low light cameras implement a larger sensor, a larger lens aperture, and smart gain control technology to dramatically improve nighttime image performance. Noise reduction improvements in hardware and software effectively reduce image noise in low illumination scenes. Finally, anti-fogging and non-silicon oil heat conduction and dissipation enhance image definition and ensure lowlight cameras output bright, clear, high-quality color images at night, thus providing highly effective video surveillance around the clock.
