The new smart technology enables a reliable and faster data transmission and therefore delivers a significantly higher speed update for powerline user. Existing powerline adapters only use two out of three wires. SmartLink now uses not only the phase and neutral conductor but also the ground wire for data transmission. Thereby it can fulfill the full performance potential of the electricity line. Besides a considerably speed gain of up to 1200Mbit, the reach and reliability of the powerline signal is also increased. Even isolated rooms in basements or lofts are now onnected with a higher data rate.

The ALL1681211v2 adapter is the first ALLNET powerline adapter according to HomePlug AV2 standard with Smartlink 1200 Mbps and MIMO with additional integrated wireless AC access point on the market.
The ALLNET ALL1681211v2 uses the latest Qualcomm Atheros QCA7500 / QCA8334 chipset. It has two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 interfaces and is compatible with the IEEE1901/Homeplug AV and GreenPHY powerline standards. This makes it easy to use with existing powerline end devices from other manufacturers.
High data rates and Quality of Service (QoS) enable the use of HD multimedia applications and help you to realise high-speed digital multimedia home networks throughout the house, including IPTV services, simultaneous HD video and audio distribution, Voice Over IP calls, online gaming, high-speed Internet. The ALL1681211v2 offers simple plug & play push-button networking without the need for software configuration. The Network Management Key (NMK) with its 128-bit AES hardware encryption ensures secure, authenticated access to the logical network and protects the network from hackers. The integrated wireless IEEE802.11ac dual-band access point performs in 2.4GHz (max. 300Mbps) and 5GHz (max. 867Mbps). In order to fulfil the requirements for modern Green IT products, the ALL1681211v2 complies with the European Code of Conduct (CoC) for improving energy efficiency and the Energy using Products (EuP) Directive of the European Union. The new HomePlug AV2 standard enables highly efficient data transmission on the power cable with technologies such as Efficient Notching & High Efficiency PHY Protocoll Data Unit (PPDU) Structure.
The new ALL1681211v2 now also offers an integrated protective contact socket that is looped through in a filtered manner, i.e. the end devices that are connected behind this integrated filtered socket do not interfere with the powerline transmission signal. This has 2 advantages:
